gray and white safari themed nursery newborn session

There is no feeling quite like bringing your new baby home for the first time. Just ask these first time parents Erica + Seth! Last week I shared the birth story of their sweet little boy (and my littlest cousin!) Noah Allen and today I’m sharing his newborn photos.

I joined the new family of three at home for their newborn session. Having your newborn session creates a more comfortable environment for both you and your baby. In addition, it allows us to capture details of the space where your little one will grow.

Erica + Seth created the perfect space for baby Noah. Filled with wild animal details and soft grays and whites, this safari themed nursery is adorable. I loved his giraffe and elephant mobile above the crib. It matched the little chair in his room perfectly!

From Erica: Jamie pushed everything aside for us, yet again to capture our baby boy’s newborn photos. We love that she preferred to take these images in the comfort of our home. It made everything just a little more real. We also really wanted our fur baby to be involved even though he is a bit big and doesn’t realize it, haha! Jamie worked patiently with us and gave us tips to make these images turn out exactly how we wanted. Noah decided that he wanted to be away for the photoshoot, but Jamie worked her magic again to provide us with beautiful photos. We cannot wait to see all the images that Jamie captured of our little family.

One of my favorite parts of Noah’s session is that his fur brother joined us for some of the shots. Standing almost as tall as the crib, but thinking he’s much smaller, Erica + Seth’s fur baby can’t stop staring at his new best friend. I can already tell that Noah is going to have such a blast playing with him as he grows up.

Erica + Seth, I’m so happy you have your beautiful baby boy at home. Noah is one lucky little boy to have parents as great as the two of you. Capturing these milestones in your life and his has been such a joy!
